Blog #2: My favorite concert.

The best concert I’ve ever been to is from my favorite music band: Linkin Park.

It was this year, 2017, in May 9^th, at Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile.

Linkin Park is an American rock band from California, formed in 1996. Their genres are alternative and nu metal. They sold more than 100 million records worldwide and has won two Grammy Awards. With 7 studio albums, and a huge amount of fans, their actual members are Mike Shinoda (vocals), Rob Bourdon (drums), Brad Delson (guitar), Dave Farrel (bass) and Joe Hahn (samples).

I remember every second in that concert, I arrived to the queue early, and when the guards opened the doors I ran until I got to the fence in front of the stage. Every moment was amazing and I sang every song. They debuted some new songs from their new album ‘One More Light’ live in that concert for the first time, and it was the start of their One More Light World Tour.

However, that concert is very important to me, because it was the first and the last time ill see them. This past June 20, one of their members with the role of main vocals, Chester Bennington, committed suicide. I was heartbroken with the shocking news, and I realized that maybe, every scream, laugh, jump and tear that I let go in that concert, were the purest emotions that I’ve ever felt.

Even though I’m holding on this heavy feeling, I feel complete having been there.
