Blog #7: Santiago Stories.

I frequently use the subway, maybe everyday if I say so, and I got used to it, to be pushed and struggled in the middle of a crowd full of stressed people after work, even if I have my models or a hundred of heavy bags carrying on, despite that they kept pushing me without worry, but that’s not the main subject that I’m going to talk about.

It was a day like every other day, rush hour, I was stand up in the last wagon, which is the emptiest one, well just a little, and I was pretty exhausted, sleepy and full of things in my head, like thinking that nobody was on my side, my head was shaking with sleep and the only thing that I wanted was an empty seat and sleep just 5 minutes there.

I was getting to my destination when suddenly a boy stood right next to me, he was also full with bags but from a grocery store. I stayed there looking out of the window at nothing, when the guy stares at me, and then he says “hey you’re so pretty”. I didn´t know what to say, the only thing that went out of my mouth was a “thank you”, then he starts to search something in his bags and he gave me something saying: “because of that I want to give you this, please accept it” and he gives me a chocolate ‘Nutella’. I was very impressed for that gesture because that doesn’t happen every day.

He got off the next station and I looked at him saying ‘thank you’ again, with my cheeks completely red.

He made my day so much brighter.
